Neo-Nazis Suspected in Decapitation Murder

(December 10, 2008)

Neo-Nazis may be guilty for the decapitation of a Tajik man last Friday (December 5) in the Moscow region village of Zhabkino, according to a December 9, 2008 report by the news web site Two Tajik men were returning that night from work at a local vegetable market when they were shot at. One of the men ran off after a bullet struck him, but police discovered the headless body of the other victim shortly afterwards. None of the man's valuables were missing, raising the possibility that the crime was motivated by ethnic hatred rather than simple robbery. The surviving Tajik man described the attackers to the police as ethnic Russians.
